Q: Why is Cygwin needed on Win32?

Line: 9 to 9

Cygwin is needed only for compiling the VR Juggler libraries. The build system is the same as the one used on UNIX-based platforms, and thus, a UNIX-like environment is required for compiling. Once the libraries are compiled, the Visual Studio IDE can be used to write and compile applications.
