Installing Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy)

Required

Packages installable via apt-get:

  • libboost-dev
  • libboost-filesystem-dev
  • uuid-dev (not strictly required but highly recommended)
  • g++
  • autoconf
  • automake1.4
  • make
  • xorg-dev
  • libgl1-mesa-swx11-dev (or equivalent)
  • libglu1-mesa-dev (or equivalent)

Additional packages:

  • GMTL 0.4.10 or newer
  • CppDOM 0.3.0 or newer

Recommended

  • sun-java5-jdk
  • libomniorb4-dev
  • libopenal-dev
  • libalut-dev
  • libaudiere-dev
