Full story

The documentation for VR Juggler is falling behind the design and the implementation. For 1.1 DR4 (and for the IEEE VR 2003 course) it would be very helpful to a lot of people if the documentation were updated. A lot of content still refers to VR Juggler 1.0 or needs to be rewritten entirely (e.g., replacing the VjControl Guide with a VRJConfig Guide).

Implementation notes

Config guide: The first pass has been completed. I need to go back through and:
- Convert all units over to meters.
- Make new screenshots.
- Fix up the position transform filters for the MotionStar^? example.
- Fill in details on how to use the filters of positional devices to get the tracker driver to work correctly.

Task details:

Updating the VR Juggler Programmer's Guide took a lot longer than I anticipated. I hope that the other documentation is not so far out of date. --PH

Updating the porting guide also took a lot longer than I anticipated, but it was mostly due to my lack of experience with xxe or any xml editor for that matter. --JB
